Grundfos has entered into an agreement to acquire the Danish water treatment company Eurowater.  Headquartered in Skanderborg, Eurowater develops, produces and markets complete solutions for the treatment of water for customers in the industrial and municipal sectors. Eurowater, which primarily serves the European market, has subsidiary companies in 14 countries servicing customers through 23 local offices. The company employs more than 400 people, with half based in Denmark.
Grundfos says that the acquisition marks an important milestone in the company’s ongoing efforts to pioneer solutions to tackle global water challenges.
