• Svanehøj expands in Benelux with acquisition of Dutch pumpsolutions provider
Svanehøj has acquired the Netherlands-based European Pump Services (EPS) BV, a company specializing in the integration and service of pump solutions for the industrial, offshore, and maritime sectors.
• PSG acquires US cryogenic pump manufacturer Cryo-Mach
PSG, an operating company of Dover Corporation, has acquired Cryogenic Machinery Corp (Cryo-Mach), a specialized U.S. designer and manufacturer of mission-critical cryogenic centrifugal pumps, mechanical seals, and accessories.
• DESMI acquires Denmark’s Nordan Marine
DESMI has announced the acquisition of Nordan Marine A/S, a Danish provider of pumps, as well as service and repair solutions for cargo and fuel handling systems, including those used for LPG and LEG carriers, LNG vessels, and alternative fuel-capable ships.
• Franklin Electric acquires Australia’s PumpEng
Franklin Electric Co. Inc. has acquired Australia-based PumpEng Pty Ltd, a global original equipment manufacturer of submersible pumps for the mining sector. The acquisition strengthens Franklin Electric’s commitment to the mining industry and complements its existing operations in Australia under the Pioneer Pump and Minetuff brands.
• Honeywell to acquire Sundyne in US$2.16bn deal
Honeywell has agreed to acquire Sundyne from private equity firm Warburg Pincus in a US$2.16 billion all-cash transaction. Sundyne designs, manufactures, and supports highly engineered pumps and gas compressors for the process industries. Its pump brands include Sundyne, Sunflo, Ansimag, HMD Kontro, and Marelli.
• Alfa Laval to acquire Fives Group’s cryogenics business for €800mn
Alfa Laval has signed a binding put-option agreement to acquire the Fives Cryogenics business unit, part of the Fives Group, in an €800 million deal. Headquartered in France, Fives Cryogenics specializes in cryogenic heat transfer and pump technologies. The proposed acquisition is subject to consultation with the relevant works councils, after which the parties expect to enter into a definitive purchase agreement.
• Tencarva Machinery acquires Atlantic Valve & Equipment
Tencarva Machinery Company has acquired Atlantic Valve & Equipment, a manufacturer’s representative serving the municipal and industrial water/wastewater markets in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Maryland, Washington, D.C., and West Virginia.
• Ceco Environmental divests its Fluid Handling business (GPS) to May River Capital
Ceco Environmental Corp has completed the previously announced divestiture of its Fluid Handling business (also known as Global Pump Solutions, or GPS) to Chicago-based private equity firm May River Capital. The GPS business includes three industrial pump brands—Dean, Fybroc, and Sethco—specializing in metallic, fiberglass, and thermoplastic centrifugal technologies. May River Capital has formed a new portfolio company, Tusk Industrial, to bring together the Dean, Fybroc, and Sethco brands.
• Lutz-Jesco acquires Valmet’s FXM metering pump technology
Chemical dosing technology company Lutz-Jesco GmbH acquired the FXM line of peristaltic metering pumps from Valmet. The FXM series, formerly branded under Flowrox, will be fully integrated into Lutz-Jesco’s range of transfer and metering equipment. The acquisition includes all related technology, designs, and intellectual property ensuring a smooth transition and continued support for current FXM customers. The Flowrox trademark and brand remain with Valmet.
• Honeywell completes acquisition of Sundyne
Honeywell completed its acquisition of Sundyne from private equity firm Warburg Pincus in a US$2.16 billion all-cash transaction. Sundyne designs, manufactures and supports highly-engineered pumps and gas compressors used in process industries. Pumps brands include
Sundyne, Sunflo, Ansimag, HMD Kontro and Marelli. The acquisition brings approximately 1,000 skilled employees and significant aftermarket revenue generated from a large installed base to Honeywell.
• Ingersoll Rand acquires Chinese pump maker Lead Fluid
Ingersoll Rand Inc acquired Lead Fluid (Baoding) Intelligent Equipment Manufacturing Co Ltd, a China-based manufacturer of advanced fluid- handling products, including peristaltic pumps, syringe pumps, gear pumps, and pump heads, used for life science applications.
• PSG buys German rotary lobe pump maker IPP

ABB expands in smart water management with optical sensor company acquisition ABB is acquiring Real Tech, a Canadian supplier of optical sensor technology that enables real-time water monitoring and testing.
ITT closes acquisition of Svanehøj ITT Inc has completed its acquisition of Svanehøj Group A/S, the Danish supplier of customized critical liquid and cryogenic pumps for the marine sector.
Wilo UK expands in pump servicing with acquisition of Arfon Rewinds Wilo UK has acquired Arfon Rewinds Limited (trading as Arfon Engineering Services) in a move that extends the company’s service capability in key water management operations, including installation, repair, condition monitoring, and general pump maintenance.
DXP Enterprises acquires Kappe Associates DXP Enterprises Inc has acquired Kappe Associates Inc, a US distributor and manufacturers’ representative of pumps, controls and process equipment for the water and wastewater industry.
Workdry International acquires Vanderkamp Groud. Workdry International, parent company of Selwood and Siltbuster, has acquired Vanderkamp Group, a Netherlands based temporary pumping solutions specialist.
Pleuger expands further in North American market. Motor and pump manufacturer Pleuger has acquired AVI International, a Connecticut, USA-based specialist in the upgrade, repair, and service of rotating equipment.
ChampionX acquires Artificial Lift Performance to expand digital solutions portfolio. Oilfield technology and services company ChampionX Corp has acquired Artificial Lift Performance Limited (ALP), a provider of analytics solutions for enhancing oil and gas production performance.
DXP Enterprises acquires Pro-Seal. DXP Enterprises Inc has completed the acquisition of Pro-Seal Inc, a US distributor of pumping systems, fluid sealing and related seal support systems and other industrial pumping equipment and services and lubricants.

Interpump expands in China through acquisitions. Italy’s Interpump Group has acquired a 60% equity interest in Process Partners China Co Ltd and an increase to 60% in its investment in YRP (Shanghai) Flow Technology Co Ltd, via its subsidiary Inoxpa SAU.
OTC Industrial Technologies acquires Allied Sales & Service. US industrial equipment service provider and distributor OTC Industrial Technologies has acquired Allied Sales & Service, a supplier of pumps and mechanical seals.
De.mem acquires Australia’s Border Pumpworks business. De.mem Ltd, a provider of decentralized water and wastewater treatment solutions, has signed a binding agreement to acquire the Border Pumpworks business, based in Wodonga in regional Victoria, Australia.
Integrated Power Services acquires Houghton International. Integrated Power Services (IPS), a North American leader in the servicing, engineering, and remanufacturing of electrical, mechanical, and power management assets, has acquired UK electromechanical services provider Houghton International.
Techouse to acquire Norway’s Eureka Group. Triton portfolio company Techouse Group AS has signed an agreement to acquire pump and genset supplier Eureka Group AS from Remold Invest AS and Aker Capital AS.
Tencarva Machinery acquires Tri State Coating & Machine US pump distributor and servicer Tencarva Machinery Company has acquired Tri-State Coating & Machine, a Salt Rock, West Virginia-based provider of specialized thermal coating services and related parts to the industrial market.
Ingersoll Rand buys India’s Del Pumps. Ingersoll Rand Inc has acquired Del PD Pumps & Gear Pvt Ltd, an India-based manufacturer of rotary, twin, and triple gear pumps for the loading, unloading, transfer, and pressurization of liquids.
Holland Pump acquires Florida Dewatering. US independent specialty pump rental and dewatering solutions provider Holland Pump Company has completed the acquisition of Florida Dewatering based in Tampa, Florida.
Burt Process acquires fluid systems supplier ProFlow Burt Process Equipment has bought ProFlowInc, a US provider of advanced stainless-steel technologies.

Workdry International acquires US rental specialist Holland Pump Workdry International, the parent company of Selwood, Siltbuster, and Vanderkamp, has announced a strategic expansion into the North American market through the acquisition of Florida-based Holland Pump Company.
Flacks Group moves into mining. Flacks Group has entered the mining industry with the acquisition of Artemyn, a division previously owned by Imerys SA. Artemyn, with 1000 employees across 24 plants in the Americas, Asia, and Europe, owns the world’s largest kaolin operation with unique high-quality reserves in Brazil. Pump maker Pleuger Industries, part of Flacks Group’s diversified portfolio, will collaborate with Artemyn to enhance operational efficiencies and drive R&D in mining products.
Tsurumi acquires Italy’s Zenit Group. Japan’s Tsurumi Manufacturing Co Ltd has acquired the entire share capital of Zenit International SpA, the holding company of Italian wastewater treatment plant producer Zenit Group.Metso strengthens slurry handling offering with Australian acquisition. Metso is acquiring Jindex Pty Ltd, a privately owned Australian company specializing in valves and process flow control.Idex Corp to buy Mott Corp in US$1bn deal. Idex Corp entered into a definitive agreement to acquire microfiltration business Mott Corporation and its subsidiaries for cash consideration of US$1 billion.
Flowserve buys LNG pumping technology from NexGenCryo. Flowserve Corporation has acquired the intellectual property and in-process R&D related to cryogenic liquefied natural gas (LNG) submerged pump technology, systems and packaging from NexGen Cryogenic Solutions Inc. A privately held, Arizona-based company specialized in the engineering, design and testing of LNG pumps and turbines.
Harrington Process Solutions acquires Cortrol Process Systems. US distributor Harrington Process Solutions has acquired Cortrol Process Systems, a provider of non-metallic corrosion resistant flow control products, including pumps, for the chemical processing, industrial, municipal water, and other end markets across the Midwest and Gulf Coast.
Australian vacuum pump distributor has become part of Atlas Copco Group. AVT Services, a company providing vacuum pump and system sales and service to customers in Australia, has become part of Atlas Copco Group.Vestum buys UK wastewater pumping station specialist. Swedish industrial group Vestum AB has acquired all shares in PDAS Holdings Ltd through its subsidiary Pump Supplies Ltd. PDAS provides proactive maintenance and intelligent monitoring of wastewater pumping stations. Flowserve to purchase US valve maker Mogas Industries. Flowserve Corp has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Mogas Industries, a privately held, Houston-based provider of mission-critical severe service valves and associated aftermarket services for US$290 million with an additional earnout of up to US$15 million. Atlas Copco Group acquires South African specialty dewatering solutions company. Atlas Copco Group has completed the acquisition of Integrated Pump Rental (IPR), a specialty rental provider of dewatering solutions in South Africa. Headquartered in Johannesburg, IPR provides fully outsourced dewatering solutions through the rental of pump and ancillary equipment. Grundfos expands in water treatment with CulliganC&I acquisition. Grundfos has bought the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) business of Culligan in Italy, France, and the UK. The acquisition expands Grundfos’s position within the European water treatment market, bringing a complementary portfolio of solutions and technologies for industrial and commercial needs.
DXP Enterprises adds to water platform. DXP Enterprises Inc acquired Hartwell Environmental Corp, a Texas headquartered manufacturer’s representative of pumps, controls and process equipment for water and wastewater industry. Verder buys condensate removal pump specialist Sauermann. Verder Group has strengthened its position in the global pump and equipment industry with the acquisition of Sauermann, a supplier in the HVACR market, including condensate removal pumps and air quality measurement and control instruments. FLSmidth to acquire German sensor technology company TipcoTudeshki. FLSmidth is strengthening its digital pumps, cyclones and valves offering with the acquisition of German sensor technology company TipcoTudeshki Industrial Process Control GmbH. Ingersoll Rand acquires India’s UT. Ingersoll Rand acquires India’s UT Pumps. Ingersoll Rand Inc has acquired UT Pumps & Systems Private Limited, an Indian manufacturer of screw pumps and triplex plunger pumps.

Atlas Copco acquires UK pump distributor Kinder-Janes. Atlas Copco Group has bought Kinder Janes Engineers Ltd, an industrial pump distributor headquartered in St Albans, UK. General Pump Co merges with Water Well Solutions. General Pump Company (GPC), a provider of utility water well and pump services in Southern California is merging with Water Well Solutions (WWS) of Wisconsin and Illinois. Atlas Copco purchases hygienic pump manufacturer Pomac. Atlas Copco Group has acquired Pomac BV, a Dutch company which develops and manufactures hygienic pumps, mainly for the food & beverage industry. Baker Manufacturing buys AY McDonald’s Pump Division. Baker Manufacturing Company LLC, an Evansville, Wisconsin, USA-based portfolio company of Blue Sage Capital has acquired the Pump Division of AY McDonald Mfg Co. The acquisition involves AY McDonald’s full pump product line, which includes its portfolio of submersible pumps, booster pumps, jets, sump pumps, and pressure tanks for the residential and agricultural markets.
ABB acquires Aurora Motors. ABB has signed an agreement to purchase Aurora Motors, a US$4 million global provider of vertical pump motors.With engineering and operations in Shanghai, China and a corporate office and distribution center in Hayward, California, USA, Aurora Motors has a longstanding customer base in 30 countries, an experienced customer-centered sales structure, and solid partnerships with strategic suppliers.
Ebara expands in South America with acquisition of Uruguayan pump sales company Asanvil. Ebara Corp has acquired an 80% stake in Uruguayan pump sales company Asanvil SA through its Brazilian subsidiary Ebara BombasAmérica Do Sul Ltda (EBAS). Located in Canelones, Uruguay, Asanvil’s main business is the assembly, sales, and after-sales service of standard pumps and other products.
HIG Capital acquires Northwest Pump and Equipment Co. An affiliate of alternative investment firm HIG Capital has completed the acquisition of Northwest Pump and Equipment Co, a provider of products and services to fueling stations, EV charging infrastructure and other industrial applications across the Western United States.
Pentair buys US manufacturer of swimming pool heat pumps. Pentair plc has bought Florida-based G&F Manufacturing LLC, a manufacturer of heat pumps for pools, for approximately US$108 million in cash.
Xylem takes majority stake in water analytics company Idrica. Xylem has acquired a majority stake in Spanish water data management and analytics company Idrica, to empower water utilities with intelligent solutions. The two companies first teamed up in early 2023, with Xylem.Distributing Idrica’s GoAigua technology globally and taking a minority stake in Idrica. Xylem Vue, which combines Xylem’s existing digital water solutions portfolio with Idrica’s technology platform, empowers customers to address critical challenges such as water scarcity and aging infrastructure with real-time insights. Now the acquisition of a majority stake will enable the two companies to further integrate their solutions and create a simpler, more powerful customer experience.
Sumitomo acquires large mining pump rental company in Indonesia. Sumitomo Corporation has acquired 100% of the shares of PT Resource Equipment Indonesia (REL), a company engaged in the rental of large pumps mainly for mining sites in Indonesia, through its wholly owned subsidiary Aver Asia (S) Pte Ltd. With the acquisition of REL, Aver Asia expands into the mining sector, gaining specialized knowledge of large pumps and a new customer base. By cross selling with its existing construction equipment fleet, Aver Asia aims to expand its business in the high potential Indonesian market and contribute to the entire region as Aver Asia Group.
