The magazine was founded by Mr. Anil Upadhyay, about 32 years ago, Mr. Upadhyay himself a technocrat, started career from Mumbai with a multinational pump company and came with the idea of launching exclusive magazine on pumps as there was a vacuum in India for such an exclusive magazine on the subject, eminent technocrats from the industry supported this idea, and It was launched in October 1994, very soon it was popular across the country and became this magazine a trusted source of information and referred by professionals, manufacturers, engineers, and end-users across the country and beyond.
