Amarinth has secured its first pump order from oil & gas services company Fedoz Nigeria for the Bonney River Terminal in Nigeria, marking a further expansion for Amarinth into the African market.Fedoz Nigeria, headquartered in Port Harcourt, serves both onshore and offshore oil & gas industries across West Africa and beyond.
This initial order involves replacing an aging API 610 Girdlestone 980 raw water pump, originally installed in 1996 at the Bonney River Terminal, which has now reached the end of its operational life. The replacement pump from Amarinth needed to seamlessly integrate with the existing infrastructure, ensuring that operations could continue without interruption. The new pump had to match the footprint of the old unit, align with existing pipework, connect to the drain valve, and deliver the same performance.
Amarinth has established itself as the go-to provider for high-quality spares and replacement pumps for the now-obsolete Girdlestone line.
