Salvatore pumps used on Italian project

Italian pump manufacturer, Salvatore Robuschi has joined forces with environmental and industrial management services company, SIMAM, on a project at a water treatment plant in Terni, Italy.
SIMAM supplied all the plant for the project and chose Salvatore Robuschi to supply the pumps. All the pumps were tested on Robuschi test bench before the delivery and it is now supplying more than 20 pumps for biological sludge circulation in ultrafiltration units.    Read More …….

Amarinth provides pumps for ADNOC, UAE

Amarinth has supplied four API 610 VS4 pumps to ADNOC for the Al Mandous underground oil storage project in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates.
ADNOC is building the world’s largest underground oil storage facility in Fujairah with a capacity of 42 million barrels of crude oil. The four Amarinth API 610 11th edition VS4 vertical pumps are 4m long transfer pumps and are supplied with Plan 53B seal support systems. Read More …….   

FLSmidth awarded gold plant order in Russia

FLSmidth will supply a new gold processing plant to JSC Pavlik in Russia’s Magadan region.
The planned seven million tonnes per annum plant will operate alongside the processing plant that FLSmidth supplied in 2013–14.
Under this latest DKK290 million order, FLSmidth will supply equipment across the complete flowsheet, including materials handling, flotation, gravity concentrators, screens, gold leaching, dewatering, pumps, cyclones, valves, instruments and reagent systems. The order also includes a complete plant electrical and automation package.
FLSmidth will begin supplying equipment in the fourth quarter of 2020. The plant is expected to start operating in late 2021 or early 2022.  

Iron Pump Ejectors For 8 Multi-Purpose Vessels In China

Fall 2019 IRON Pump won the order of ejectors for a total of 8 shipsets to Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding and Wenchong Shipyard in China. The order was won in cooperation with our ejector representative in China Jada Marine trade & Consultant.
The ejectors are to be a part of 8 13000DWT multi-purpose vessels with an overall length of 150 meters each. The scope of supply includes ejectors for ballast stripping, multiple bilge ejectors including bilge ejectors for chain lockers and transportable ejectors with quick couplings for purging bilge water in deep tanks. All equipment has been carefully tested and inspected at our factory and certified by a classification society before delivery.

ABEL Receives Order For Three HMQ Pumps

In December 2019, the pump company ABEL landed a major order of three “HMQ” membrane piston pumps (HMQ abbr. for Hydraulic Membrane Quadruplex Pump) to supply one of the largest silver mines in Latin America. On site, these pumps are used to transport mine water, which is pumped from a shaft at a depth of 700 m at approx. 80 bar to the surface into a reservoir.  Read More …….

Rheinmetall Pumps For Electric Vehicles

First-tier auto-industry supplier Rheinmetall Automotive, part of the Rheinmetall Technology Group, has been awarded a mega contract by a renowned international carmaker to supply pumps for electric vehicles over a total period of eight years.
Through its Chinese joint venture Pierburg Huayu Pump Technology Co., Ltd., Rheinmetall Automotive will supply two versions of its electric water recirculation pump (WUP) with a total lifetime value of €130 million, series production scheduled to commence in 2020.  Read More ……

Aesseal invests in US manufacturing division

Mechanical seal specialist Aesseal is increasing capacity in its US operations with an investment of almost US$16 million.  Over the past year the Aesseal group has invested around US$11 million in its US manufacturing facility in Rockford, Tennessee. The plant now has six state-of-the-art nine-axes machine tools.
The company is also planning to invest a further US$5 million in its MS&S subsidiary in Odessa, Texas which primarily focuses on the oil & gas industry. Having outgrown its current location, the bulk of the investment will finance the construction of a new US$3.7 million building.
As a result of the increased productivity, 85% of mechanical seals and support systems offered for sale by Aesseal  Inc will be made in the USA.

Manchester FC and Xylem for clean water in Bangalore

Manchester City Football Club has teamed up with official water technology partner Xylem for a second year to build two new sustainable clean water towers in Bangalore, India with the help of volunteer fans.As part of the club’s Cityzens Giving project, five Manchester City fans from across India joined Xylem employees and former player Paul Dickov to deliver access to clean water and sanitation to two new schools.   Read More …….

L&T Construction Awarded EPC Contract in MP

NPCIL To Invest Rs 14,575 Crore Next Fiscal

Nuclear Power Corporation of India (NPCIL) is likely to spend Rs 14,575 crore next financial year, a 22% jump over the capital expenditure of Rs 11,890 crore in the current fiscal, according to the expenditure budget documents for 2020-21 tabled in Parliament. Major NPCIL projects currently under construction include Unit-3 and Unit-4 of the Pressurised Heavy Water Reactor (PHWR) at Kakrapar atomic power station, Gujarat.  BHEL Wins Order For Hydroelectric Project In Nepal

In the face of stiff competition, BHEL has won an order for the Electro-Mechanical (EM) works for the 40 MW Rahughat Hydroelectric Project in Nepal.
The order has been placed on BHEL by the Raghuganga Hydropower Limited (RGHPL), a company 100% owned by Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) the sole public power utility in Nepal and owned by the Govt. of Nepal. The project is majority funded by EXIM Bank of India in the form of a soft loan, along with funding from NEA and the Govt. of Nepal. WAPCOS, India is the project consultant.    Read More …….
