Elliott &  Ebara International merger completed

Elliott Group has finalised the merger of Ebara International Corporation, based inSparks, Nevada, with its operations in Jeannette, Pennsylvania, USA. Ebara International Corporation manufactures custom-engineered cryogenic pumps and expanders under the Cryodynamics brand for the liquefied gas industry.    Read More …….

Valmet completed GL&V acquisition

Valmet has completed the acquisition of GL&V, a global provider of technologies and services to the pulp and paper industry, for an enterprise value of approximately €113 million.The acquired operations had net sales of approximately €160 million in 2018 and employ about 630 people.   Read More …….

Abel secures order for 14 diaphragm pumps

A Mexican mining company has commissioned the German pump manufacturer Abel GmbH to supply 14 hydraulic diaphragm pumps.
The pumps will be used to transport sulfuric acid-containing jarosite sludge in the course of zinc production.

Ebara subsidiary Elliott opens new factory in India

Ebara Corp subsidiary Elliott Group has opened a new manufacturing facility in Bengaluru, India.The new facility will be a central location to expand Elliott’s compressor and turbine business throughout India and East Asian countries.    Read More …….

Svanehøjbags order for 42 pumps from Samsung Heavy Industries 

The Danish pump specialist Svanehøj has secured an order from Samsung Heavy Industries to provide 42 pumps for three new very large ethane carriers (VLEC).
The Svanehøj order includes 24 offloading pumps, 12 spray pumps and six fuel pumps. All of the pumps will be manufactured in Denmark and delivered to Samsung Heavy Industries in South Korea within the first six months of 2020

Lewa Nikkiso awarded CERN contract

Lewa Nikkiso Switzerland AG has been awarded an order worth more than CHF5.5 million by the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN). The contract includes the delivery of 33 LDG drive units with remote pump heads in single, duplex and triplex designs.
The  diaphragm pumps used must be designed to meet CERN’s specifications for applications at temperatures as low as -55°C and in continuous operation for one year. 

Change of ownership for Pleuger Industries

After 18 years in the Flowserve group, Pleuger Industries, the German manufacturer of submersible motor pumps, is once again an independent company.Pleuger Industries, which was part of Flowserve from 2000 to 2018, supplies submersible motor pumps, plunger pumps and thrusters that are made in Germany. Pleuger pumps are used worldwide in the energy, mining, water and oil & gas industries.   Read More …….

Crane  proposes to acquire Circor

Crane Co has submitted a proposal to acquire Circor International Inc.The Circor pump brands include Allweiler, Houttuin, IMO, Tushaco, Warren and Zenith. Circor acquired Colfax Corp’s Fluid Handling business in 2017.
Crane’s Fluid Handling segment is a global provider of industrial fluid control products and systems, including valves, pumps, lined pipe and instrumentation

Ingersoll Rand completes acquisition of Precision Flow Systems

Ingersoll-Rand plc has completed its US$1.45 billion acquisition of Precision Flow Systems .
Precision Flow Systems brands include Milton Roy, LMI, 
Haskel, BuTech, Dosatron, YZ Systems, Williams and Hartell. Markets include water, precision irrigation, oil and gas, chemical and industrial.
Precision Flow Systems, which has been operated by Accudyne Industries since 2012, had sales of approximately US$400 million in 2018, employs around 1000 people and has seven global manufacturing locations.
  

Dover adds All-Flo Pump to PSG unit

Dover Corp has completed the acquisition of All-Flo Pump Co Ltd, an Ohio-based manufacturer of specialty air-operated double-diaphragm (AODD) pumps used to transfer viscous, abrasive and hazardous fluids, sludges and slurries.
All-Flo Pump is now part of the Pump Solutions Group (PSG) unit within Dover’s Fluids segment.
Founded in 1986 and headquartered in Mentor, Ohio, All-Flo had revenues of around US$12 million in 2018.
PSG brands already include Abaque, Almatec, Blackmer, Ebsray, EnviroGear, Griswold, Mouvex, Neptune, Quattroflow and Wilden.

Andritz provides 12 energy-efficient pumps for water supply in Jordan

Andritz has supplied 12 multi-stage axial split case and high-pressure ring section pumps to the Water Authority of Jordan.
The energy-efficient pumps are now securing the water supply of the capital city Amman.The scope of supply also included six high-pressure ring section pumps from the HP43 series for the water distribution to the Madaba region.

Gardner Denver to combine with Ingersoll Rand’s Industrial business

Ingersoll-Rand plc is to spin off its Industrial segment (Ingersoll Rand Industrial) and combine it with Gardner Denver Holdings Inc, creating an industrial company (IndustrialCo) valued at approximately US$15 billion. Ingersoll Rand’s current HVAC and transport refrigeration assets will become a pure play global leader in climate control solutions for buildings, homes and transportation (ClimateCo).

ITT seals Rheinhütte Pumpen acquisition

ITT Inc has completed its acquisition of RheinhüttePumpen Group.
Rheinhütte, which is headquartered in Wiesbaden, Germany, manufactures centrifugal and axial flow pumps for the handling of aggressive media in chemical, mining, renewable energy and refinery processes. The business employs approximately 430 people and had full-year 2018 revenue of approximately €61.5 million.
