Ingersoll Rand completed Seepex acquisition
Ingersoll Rand Inc has completed its acquisition of the progressive cavity pump company Seepex GmbH. Seepex is now part of Ingersoll Rand’s Precision and Science Technologies segment.
Bottrop, Germany-headquartered Seepex manufactures progressive cavity pumps for water, wastewater, food and beverage and chemical applications. The company has facilities in Europe, North America and Asia Pacific, around 800 employees and annual revenue of approximately €160 million.
AxFlow acquires Swiss Ateliers Ehrismann
AxFlow Germany is expanding its service business in Switzerland with the acquisition of Geneva-based Ateliers Ehrismann SA. Founded in 1923, Ateliers Ehrismann services electric motors, pumps and other electrical and mechanical machinery. Read More …….
Tsurumi Pumps at Tokyo Olympic Games

Sterner AS has selected PG Flow Solutions to deliver 15 pump systems for the new smolt facility that it is building for Sande Settefisk in Sandane, Norway. Atlas Copco Acquired Canadian Pump Company
Atlas Copco has acquired CPC Pumps International Inc. The company specializes in the design, manufacturing, and servicing of custom-engineered, mission critical centrifugal pumps. CPC Pumps is based in Burlington in Ontario, Canada, with North America as their main market.
In the fiscal year 2020 the company had revenues of approximately MSEK 385 (MCAD 56). Atlas Copco’s Group Center (headquarters) in Sickla, south of Stockholm, Sweden. CPC Pumps will become part of the Gas and Process division within the Compressor Technique business area.
UltraTech to invest Rs 6500 cr for cement production
UltraTech plans to invest close to Rs 6,500 crore on a growth plan to increase capacities by 19.8 million tonnes MT in FY 22 and FY 23, said its chairman Kumar Mangalam Birla.
Upon completion of the latest round of expansion, UltraTech’s capacity will grow to 136.25 MTPA, reinforcing its position as the third-largest cement company in the world, outside of China, Birla added. Read More …….
UP Govt to install drip irrigation plants
Drip irrigation plants in 30,000 hectares of sugarcane area will be installed by the Uttar Pradesh Sugarcane Development Department during 2021-22, using subsurface drip irrigation technology. India’s largest STP to come up at Okhla
The Delhi Government is constructing India’s largest ‘Sewage Treatment Plant’ (STP) at Okhla which will have a capacity to treat 564 million litres of wastewater per day. The STP that is spread over an area of 110 acres will be completed by the end of 2022. Read More …….
