Ebara to acquire SKF’s Spandau Pumpen

Circor’s Allweiler bags major pump order with the German Navy
Circor International Inc’s Allweiler brand has secured a multimillion dollar contract to supply pumps for the German Navy’s new frigates. The Dutch Damen Shipyard, which won the German Navy tender, has ordered the complete pump packages from Allweiler.
To modernize production and further enhance sustainability, Allweiler is planning to make extensive investments in its Radolfzell location in Germany over the coming years. Circor International also has plans to invest in its locations in China and India to drive growth in those regions and explore new markets.
Amarinth API 610 pumps for North Sea project
Amarinth has secured an order to supply API 610 12th Edition OH2 horizontal centrifugal pumps for the Brodger field expansion project in the North Sea. These pumps are some of the first to be specified to the new API 610 12th Edition which was released last year following nearly 11 years of pumps being designed to the previous API 610 11th Edition. Brazilian water companies select Riventa pump
Riventa has won a number of new contracts in Brazil for its Software as a Service (SAS) pump monitoring through its partner in São Paulo, Toraqua Technologies.
Five public and private water companies in Brazil are now using Riventa’s SAS model.

Grundfos Acquires UK Company Metasphere
Metasphere provides smart network management solutions to the global utility industry. One of its key offerings is the ART Sewer integrated solution, which provides hardware and analytics software for the prediction and prevention of sewer network overflows.
Grundfos says the acquisition of Metasphere is an important milestone in its strategy to add to the company’s core competencies within pumps and hydraulics to address challenges requiring a holistic network perspective.
Eddy Pump Partners With Hawk Excavator
The partnership will improve the efficiency of Eddy Pump’s products by integrating Hawk’s excavator equipment. Eddy Pump manufactures slurry pumps and dredging equipment for industries including the US Navy, marine dredging, heavy construction, oil and gas, and mining. MRPL to boost petrochemical production
The Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd. has shelved a planned refinery expansion to focus on boosting its petrochemical production capacity, which may cost as much as Rs 470bn (USD 5.7bn).
A shifting energy landscape primarily driven by the uptake of electric vehicles has prompted MRPL to focus its efforts on increasing the output of chemicals that can be used for plastics and paints, The company’s major investment will be in a new production plant in the southern Indian state of Karnataka,
MRPL majority owned by state-controlled Oil and Natural Gas Corp. plans to spend around 300-400 billion rupees on the new plant, and a further 60-70 billion rupees on smaller petrochemical units
Petrofac to sign USD 1.5bn EPC contract
Petrofac has entered into a definitive agreement with STEP Polymers SPA (a 100% subsidiary of Sonatrach) for the design and build of its petrochemical complex in the Arzew Industrial Zone in Algeria. Petrofac will deliver the USD 1.5bn project with its joint venture partner China Huanqiu Contracting & Engineering Corporation (HQC), with Petrofac’s share valued at over USD 1bn.
