ITT to provide API 610 pump systems for ExxonMobil
ITT Inc has signed a three-year agreement for the supply of highly engineered API-610 centrifugal pump systems and related products and engineered services to energy and petrochemical company ExxonMobil. The agreement contains a US$50 million minimum contract commitment, with a total potential value of US$80 million in revenue over the term. In December 2023, WILO SE successfully secured the largest financing package in its over 150-year company history. A promissory note loan (Schuldscheindarlehen) totalling 270 million euros was placed in the international capital market and a syndicated loan totalling 300 million euros was refinanced among the core banks.
The promissory note includes an ESG (environmental, social, governance) component to reflect Wilo’s leading, holistic sustainability approach in its financing strategy.
Heat pump maker raises €145mn in financing

ITT Inc has completed its acquisition of Svanehøj Group A/S, the Danish supplier of customized critical liquid and cryogenic pumps for the marine sector. FLSmidth to provide pumps for iron ore plant in Oman
Vulcan Pelletizing has ordered a range of FLSmidth mineral processing technologies, including pumps, for a new iron ore pelletization plant in Oman.
Reducing water is a key focus area for the customer and one of the key reasons for choosing FLSmidth’s dry grinding technologies. The order includes two dry grinding mills, a wet grinding ball mill as well as high efficiency air separators, hydrocyclones and pumps.
The equipment is due to be delivered during 2025.
Xylem supports redevelopment project linking Rome & Vatican
In Italy, Xylem’s water technology is playing a crucial role in an urban regeneration project to connect Rome and the Vatican City.
The historic project will extend the Lungotevere in Sassia underpass to enable the creation of a new pedestrianized zone that connects Castel Sant’Angelo with St Peter’s Square. The extension will be completed as the City of Rome prepares to welcome 35 million visitors for the Catholic Church’s 2025 Jubilee. Read More …….
Grundfos pumps will transfer water in Florida
With the ability to pump 146,000 gallons of water per minute, Grundfos KPL pumps will move water from Lake Okeechobee into the 6,500-acre EAA Stormwater Treatment Area and Reservoir for storage and cleaning. The clean water will then move south to nourish the Everglades and replenish Florida’s aquifers and the Florida Bay.
The Grundfos pumps are installed at two pump stations within the stormwater treatment area. One pump station is now operational, and the other is completing the testing and analysis phase while power is connected to the station.
For decades, toxic runoff from agricultural land use entered Florida’s canal system and made its way into natural waterways, lakes and coastal communities.
