Ebara Machinery India Private Limited (EMI) has launched an outsourced production line at an Indian pump manufacturer’s plant in India.
EMI has plans for the ISO 9001 certified line to produce 2,000 EVMS pumps per year, expanding its standard pumps business in the Indian market. Read More …….
KSB supplies pumps worth €55mn to Nuclear Power India
KSB Pumps Ltd is executing a €55 million order from M/s Nuclear Power Corporation of India (NPCIL) to supply primary coolant pumps as a part of the Make in India initiative.
The eight primary coolant pumps – RSR 400/2 and related accessories – will be installed at NPCIL’s Gorakhpur Anu Vidyut Pariyojana 1 & 2 project in Haryana. The pumps will be manufactured at KSB’s Energy Pumps Division in Shirwal, near Pune. Pump delivery is expected to complete by March 2023. Read More …….
Svanehøj Pumps for Northern Lights CO2 Carrier
The Danish marine pumps specialist has been awarded a contract to supply pump systems for two CO2 carriers that will transport liquid CO2 to the Northern Lights storage facilities in Norway.
Operations are scheduled to start in 2024. The first two CO2 carriers are now being built for this purpose, with Danish supplier Svanehøj chosen as the supplier of the pump systems that will handle the liquid CO2. Read More …….

US private equity firm Lone Star Funds has closed its acquisition of SPX Flow Inc. Charlotte, North Carolina-based SPX Flow is now a privately held company and its common stock has ceased trading on the New York Stock Exchange.
SPX Flow’s pump brands include APV, Bolting Systems, Bran+Luebbe, Gerstenberg Schroeder, Hytec, Johnson Pump, Johnson Pump Marine, Pneumatic Products, Power Team and Waukesha Cherry-Burrell.

Adani plans 60,000 cr projects in Andhra Pradesh
The Andhra Pradesh government has signed an MoU with Adani Green Energy for establishing two mega green energy projects in the state.
The Adani group plans to invest around Rs.60,000 crore for setting up a 3,700 MV hydro storage project and a 10,000 MW solar power project in Andhra Pradesh which would provide 10,000 direct and indirect jobs for the youth.

Govt of India plans to build 10 nuclear plants in next 3 years
The Indian government is reportedly planning to build ten nuclear power plants in the country over the next three years.
The first pour of concrete (FPC) is planned for next year at the 700MW Kaiga atomic power station, which is located in the Indian state of Karnataka. The FPC process marks the start of nuclear power reactor construction from the pre-project stage, comprising excavation activities at the nuclear facility site. Read More ……
