KBL Supplied Fire-Fighting Pumps to Atal Tunnel Project
Kirloskar Brothers Limited (KBL) has achieved the unique distinction of powering the historic ‘Atal Tunnel’ project with its hi-tech fire-fighting pumping systems.
KBL supplied fire-fighting pump sets for deployment along the 9-km tunnel, which is the world’s longest motorable tunnel. The Atal Tunnel situated at Rohtang, Manali in Himachal Pradesh was opened to public use recently. Read More ……
Ebara establishes pump assembly plant in Vietnam
Ebara Corp has started operating a new facility in Vietnam to assemble standard pump products. Until now, each Ebara company in Southeast Asia managed its own inventories. By establishing this new facility, Ebara says it will be able to control stock levels and efficiently supply products to the Southeast Asian market according to demand, while shortening delivery times and reducing inventory.
The company is concentrating its efforts on the overseas standard pumps business to achieve its goal of delivering water to 600 million people worldwide as outlined in its long-term E-Vision 2030 plan.

ANDRITZ Equipment For Hydropower Plant In Senegal
International technology group ANDRITZ has received an order – as part of a consortium with VINCI Construction – for the supply of electro-mechanical equipment for the new Sambangalou hydropower dam in the Senegalese region of Kédougou, bordering Guinea.
The contract for ANDRITZ with a value of approximately 100 MEUR is expected to be booked in Q2 2021. Read More …….
