Amarinth manufactures 18m long API 610 VS4 pumps for ONGC

Amarinth, a world-leading, net-zero designer and manufacturer of low lifecycle cost centrifugal pumps and associated equipment, primarily for the offshore and onshore oil & gas industries; nuclear and renewable energy generation; defense, desalination; process and industrial markets, has completed an order from Armada Madura for $1.5M of API 610 VS4 vertical pumps for a new FPSO being built for the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), India. ANDRITZ to modernize 578.4 MW Jebba hydropower in Nigeria

ANDRITZ received an order from Mainstream Energy Solutions Limited to modernize a second generating unit at the 578.4 MW Jebba hydroelectric power plant on the Niger River in Nigeria. In January, ANDRITZ received an order to modernize Unit 2G6, which is scheduled to be commissioned at the beginning of 2024. Atlas Copco Acquires Vacuum Pump company in India

Atlas Copco has completed the acquisition of HHV Pumps Pvt. Ltd. The company designs and manufactures vacuum pumps and systems for applications used in a wide range of industries. HHV Pumps was founded in 2009 and is based in Bengaluru, India, In the fiscal year of 2020 the company had revenues of approximately Rs 40 crores.
HHV Pumps is a leading provider of vacuum pumps used for chemical and pharmaceutical industries, electrical power equipment, general industry, and rotary vane pumps used for manufacturing refrigeration and air-conditioning. The acquired business becomes part of the Industrial Vacuum Division within the Vacuum Technique Business Area.

KSB pumps for flood control in Paraguay

KSB Group has won a contract to deliver 14 large submersible motor pumps for flood control in Paraguay. The KSB pumps will equip a number of pumping stations belonging to the “Costanera de Pilar y control de inundaciones” project. They will be used to prevent future flooding during the high-water season along the tributaries of the Río Paraguay.
Each of the Amacan submersible motor pumps weighs six tonnes and is driven by a 370 kW, 380 volt motor. The maximum flow rate of each axial flow pump set is about 18 000 cubic metres per hour.
The pump sets are expected to be delivered by the end of this year.

Seepex pump technology for Thames Water

Seepex has secured an order from Thames Water to provide its patented SCT AutoAdjust pump technology and digital solutions incorporating Pump Technology 4.0 for the Maple Lodge WwTW (wastewater treatment works) in the UK.
Thames Water approached Seepex about the Maple Lodge WwTW following the successful delivery of a similar project at the water and wastewater service provider’s Mogden Lane WwTW. Read More …….

Atlas Copco to acquire Wangen Pumpen

Atlas Copco has agreed to acquire the German industrial pump manufacturer Pumpenfabrik Wangen GmbH from private equity firm Silverfleet Capital.
Headquartered in Wangen in the Allgäu region of Germany, Pumpenfabrik Wangen specialises in progressive cavity pumps used mainly in the biogas and wastewater sectors, and twin-screw pumps for food and beverage and cosmetics applications. Read More …….

Industrial Flow Solutions to acquire Dreno Pompe of Italy

Industrial Flow Solutions is buying Dreno Pompe, a designer and manufacturer of electrical submersible pumps for wastewater applications, based in Monselice in northeastern Italy.
A portfolio company of private equity firm May River Capital, Industrial Flow Solutions specialises in pumping and fluid management solutions for harsh, rugged environments. The company is headquartered in New Haven, Connecticut, USA. Read More …….

Trillium to acquire Termomeccanica Pompe

Trillium Flow Technologies is buying Termomeccanica Pompe SpA, the Italian engineered pump manufacturing company that serves the power, desalination, water transmission and oil and gas markets.
The two companies have signed a joint agreement that will bring the Termomeccanica Pompe, Gabbioneta Pumps and Begemann brands together under the Trillium umbrella in Italy.

Selwood and Boerger form new pump partnership

Under the partnership’s first official order, Selwood will purchase 15 custom-designed, positive displacement process-critical pumps from Boerger to complement its existing stock of 5000 pumps for rental; primarily in water and wastewater applications.
Boerger will provide its BLUEline Maintenance-In-Place pumps in three sizes: from 7.5kW up to 30kW; protected in stackable crash-frames.
The 15 new Boerger pumps have been designed and supplied to WIMES specification. Fitted with dry run, discharge pressure and suction monitoring, they are all compatible with SelWatch, Selwood Pumps’ telemetry site monitoring system.

Grundfos and EKF sign financing partnership agreement

The agreement is the first of its kind in the pump manufacturing industry, accelerating access to clean water and reducing CO2 emissions for customers and end users Grundfos, a global leader in advanced pump solutions and water technologies, and EKF Denmark’s Export Credit Agency have entered into an agreement enabling Grundfos to finance projects globally for private commercial and public customers with limited funds available. ANDRITZ to supply effluent and sludge treatment line in UK

International technology group ANDRITZ has received an order from Holmen Iggesund Paperboard Ltd. to supply a state-of-the art primary effluent and sludge treatment line for its mill in Workington, UK. Start-up is scheduled for the first quarter of 2023.
ANDRITZ will supply a tailor made technological solution, including channel screening, clarifying, automated flocculant and coagulant dosing, and sludge dewatering. Read More …….
